RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL involves the successful completion of the unit:
Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol THHABFB09B as part of Certificate II in Hospitality Operations - THH21802. This course is recognised under the Australian Quality Training Framework, VETAB (NSW) and is Liquor Administration Board (LAB) approved. All staff involved in the service of alcohol should complete this unit

Assessment & completion standard
Both Theory & Written. Upon successful completion of this course participants receive a Statement of Attainment for “Responsible Service of Alcohol” THHBFB09B as part of Certificate II in Hospitality Operations. In addition a NSW Liquor Administration Board (LAB) RSA Certificate is issued.

Course Duration: 6½ hours.

ID Requirements: 1 form of Photo ID is required to be shown on the day of course. Suitable ID includes: Passport, Drivers Licence, NSW RTA Photo ID Card, Proof of Age Card.

RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF GAMBLING involves the successful completion of the unit: Provide Responsible Gaming Services THHADG03B as part of Certificate II in Hospitality Operations - THH21802. This course became mandatory from the 31st December 2001 for the staff of all Gaming venues (NSW), and is recognised under the Australian Quality Training Framework, and the Liquor Administration Board (NSW) and VETAB (NSW)

Course Summary:

• Describes the context of Gambling in NSW
• Explains the indicators and impact of problem gambling
• Describes the legislative framework for responsible conduct of gambling
• Methods of implementing responsible conduct of gambling strategies
• Lists the benefits of implementing responsible conduct of gambling practices.

Assessment & completion standard
Identify & assist potential problem gamblers / provide assistance to family & friends / Voluntary self exclusion of Problem Gamblers (both Theory & Written)
