Responsible Service of Gambling – THHADG03B Victoria
Mi Training has been approved by the Victorian Commission of Gambling Regulations (VCGR) to deliver and assess Responsible Service of Gambling.
Any person seeking employment within the gaming industry or venue will require this certificate. However, this is not a gaming license and participants will need to apply for their gaming license through the VCGR.
Do I Need this Certificate?
Any person seeking employment within the gaming industry or venue will require this certificate and to obtain their gaming license before being able to obtain employment in this industry.
Pre-Requisites:
All participants must be aged 18yrs or older.
RSG Training Course Content:
This course deals with the skills and knowledge required to identify problem gamblers and offer assistance and advice to those customers.
Training Course objectives:
- Identify and assist problem gamblers
- Provide assistance to family and friends
- Bar problem gamblers
Participants are required to demonstrate competence, evidence of skills and knowledge in the following areas:
· Requirements of relevant state/territory legislation in specific relation to responsible gaming practices.
· Knowledge of reasons for and social impacts of gambling problems
· Counseling techniques
Duration:
3.5 Hour knowledge and awareness course including assessment.
Certificates:
Participants will receive their Certificates upon successful completion in THHADG03B Provide Responsible Service of Gambling.
Training Course Frequency and Cost:
The RSG runs weekly and costs $49.95 including GST.
