To be awarded a Certificate IV in Project Management participants are required to complete the following two courses and successfully complete a work-based assessment on each course within a twelve month period.
MBHT02 Managing by Project: Practitioner
This entry level Certificate IV in Project Management course is aimed at experienced project team members, junior project managers and project administrators who are looking to increase their influence and effectiveness on projects. The course provides an excellent grounding in the fundamentals of project management.
This course provides a thorough background into what is meant by project management and the central role it plays within the modern organisation. It spans all phases of a project from concept through to close-out, covering the roles and responsibilities at each stage, management of project stakeholders, development of communication plans, and effective management of team members. Particular attention is paid to the development and maintenance of project documentation including project plans, network diagrams and work break-down structures.
MBHT06 Microsoft Project™: Introduction
The planning tool for successfully managing projects, MS Project™ enables effective project scheduling and tracking whilst providing essential project management information to project teams.
This one-day course offers hand-on computer based training in the practical application of MS Project™.
