RMLV - NTH QLD 

The Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV) two -day training course is mandatory for all new nominees or licensees, including transfer and change of nominee. 

 QLD Training Solutions is a locally owned company, based in Mackay. We service from Cairns in the north and south to Bundaberg on a monthly basis.

Bar and Hospitality Course

This hands on course is run at various locations around Brisbane and Queensland with the aim to get participant job ready for the industry to be in employed in bars, cafes and restaurants.

Students will learn how to pour from beer taps, hygiene techniques, cocktails and mixed drinks, cash register operation and more.

Courses run over (4) consecutive nights, 5pm to 10pm.

The course cost is $270 and includes the RSA. A payment plan is availble to be used for as little as $25/wk.

Online Theory First Aid – Level 2

This course deals with the skills and knowledge required to provide essential First Aid. It requires the ability to recognise and respond to an emergency using life support techiques, the procedures described in this unit relate to providing an initial response where first aid is required, this Course is nationally accredited.

This course also offers On-Line theory with easy to follow through section combined with a  Day practical training session conducted weekly.

Barista Techniques (Introduction to Coffee Making) Victoria

This is an Introduction to essential espresso techniques and will provide you with the Basic skills & knowledge so that you can progress to the more advanced Barista Techniques of espresso making. Participants will gain the skills and knowledge required to extract and serve espresso coffee using a commercial coffee machine, including storage of coffee, cleaning, care and preventative maintenance of machinery.

Responsible Service of Alcohol – THHBFB09B Victoria

Mi Training is accredited by the Director of Liquor Licensing, Consumer Affairs Victoria, to deliver and assess Responsible Service of Alcohol.

Do I need this Certificate?

Most employers will require a RSA certificate accredited by Liquor Licensing as a pre-requisite for employment when serving or supplying Alcohol in Victoria, although it is not compulsory.

Responsible Service of Gambling – THHADG03B Victoria

Mi Training has been approved by the Victorian Commission of Gambling Regulations (VCGR) to deliver and assess Responsible Service of Gambling.

Any person seeking employment within the gaming industry or venue will require this certificate. However, this is not a gaming license and participants will need to apply for their gaming license through the VCGR.

Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures (Food Safety-Level 1) – THHGHS01B

This course deals with the skills and knowledge required to follow key hygiene procedures which apply in hospitality and tourism enterprises.

It is particularly relevant to staff working in kitchens, housekeeping, food and beverage and tour operations involving the preparation or handling of food. This course is nationally accredited.
