One of the challenges learners face is the requirement for gaining a qualification through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Recognition of Current Competency (RCC)

Registered Training Organisations usually face the difficulty task of students requesting RPL for competencies completed through previous courses and or work/life experience. RTO's usually respond with "it is much easier to complete the course as opposed to organising a portfolio of evidence"

Which Training have stumbled across an online self assessment tool which may come in handy to determine whether a student is competent in selected units of competency. The tool also enables students the option to assist in building their portfolio of evidence.
